Cuban today awaits the return to the stage of the Argentinean singer Fito Páez at the close of his tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his album ”Giros” considered to be one of Fito Paez best albums, and a classic of Latin rock.
Two years after his last visit to the Caribbean nation, Páez will give a concert at Havana’s Karl Marx Theater, on June 20th.
The album offers his Cuban fans songs such as ‘Yo vengo a ofrecer mi corazón’ and ‘Cable a tierra’, as well as other iconic titles of his repertoire.
Organized by the Cuban Institute of Music (ICM, in Spanish) the cultural institution and PM Records, the concert confirms the interest of the singer to return to the island. On this occasion he will be on stage with the Cuban singer, Pablo Milanés.
The Argentinean artist is one of the most popular exponents of Latin American rock and the winner of several awards, including five Latin Grammys.
Born in Rosario in the province of Santa Fe, his musical career comprises of more than twenty studio albums and dozens of collaborations with leading artists from around the world.
