Raúl bids Venezuelan President farewell

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, yesterday evening June 6, at José Martí International Airport, bid farewell to Nicolás Maduro, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, who participated in the 7th Association of Caribbean States Summit held in Havana.

Also approaching the airplane’s stairway with the Venezuelan leader were First Vice-President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.

Prior to the departure, the two Presidents held a meeting.

During the recently concluded Caribbean Summit, Raúl reiterated Cuba’s support to the Bolivarian, Chavista Revolution and President Nicolás Maduro Moros, as well as the Venezuelan people’s civil-military union.
