Equatorial Guinea called for the strengthening of collaboration projects with Cuba in the areas of fishing and the environment and requested more Cuban experts in those fields.
The request was issued by Guinean Fishing and Environment minister D. Estanislao Malabo during a meeting with Cuban ambassador Pedro Doña, in Malabo.
He expressed his gratefulness for the work of Cuban specialists over the past years in key sectors of his country. The Guinean minister also announced that he would visit Cuba soon.
The Cuban ambassador said that he would forward the request to his government, particularly to Cuban Environment minister Elba Rosa Perez.
The talks considered details about the implementation of the ongoing cooperation accords between the two environment ministries.
