Specialists from Europe, the United States, Canada and Latin America will participate in the 29th Latin American Forum on Interventional Cardiology that will be held on April 6-8, the organizing committee announced today.
Experts from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Panama, Spain and France will also attend to the forum, which is sponsored by the Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI) and the Cuban Health Ministry (MINSAP).
The president of the organizing committee, Angel Obregon, said today at a press conference that one of the forum’s goals is to introduce new techniques in the cardiovascular diseases treatment.
During this event, a contest will be organized in which young specialists will expose their cases and they will be evaluated by experienced experts.
Brazilian doctors Jose Ramires, Jose Mangione and Ricardo Llubera (president of the SOLACI) will also participate in the forum, along with the US doctors Norberto Schehtmann from the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Igor Palacio from the Massachusetts General Hospital.
