Mexico Hosts Meeting on Migrant Trafficking

The Mexican Foreign Ministry has been the venue of a meeting of the Central America and Caribbean countries, and the United States for intensifying international efforts against migrant trafficking.

Delegates from Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, and Dominican Republic, attended the meeting for discussions on that matter.

The Mexican side was represented by officials from the Foreign Affairs Secretariat (SRE) and the National Migration Institute, said the SRE communique.
