Celac’s Values for the Development of Peoples Highlighted in Ecuador

The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac, in Spanish) allows people to think about development from their own resources, capabilities and potential, highlighted Venezuela’s ambassador to Ecuador, Carol Delgado.

To the diplomat, this quality is vital since the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean have always been seen as other’s appendages or colonies.

The powers depend on us, more than we on them, the ambassador said in an exclusive interview with Prensa Latina.

In her opinion, a country with food, space, industrial, and oil sovereignty, is a threat to the eyes of the great imperialist powers, and that is why they fight as they do now with Venezuela, Bolivia, and she is confident Ecuador will be next.
