Cuba Remains Among the Countries with High Human Development

Cuba is now in the place 67 among the 188 countries that make up the human development report of the United Nations Program for Development (UNDP), today highlights the newspaper Granma.

This position, two places above the one of 2014, places the island again among the countries with high human development, it was pointed out.

Juan Carlos Alfonso, director of the Center for Population and Development Studies of the National Office of Statistics and Information (ONEI, in Spanish), explained that the Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator composed of life expectancy and those of income and education indicators.
