The chronogram for Pope Francis´ September visit to Cuba was agreed upon by authorities from the Cuban government, the Vatican and the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Cuba.
The Holy Pontiff will arrived in Havana on September 19 th, and will officiate mass at the Revolution Square the next day, before paying a courtesy visit to the Cuban President Raul Castro. He will later meet priests, seminarians and believers at the Havana Cathedral.
On Monday, September 21, Francis will travel to the eastern Cuban province of Holguin, where a mass will be held at the Calixto Garcia Square. At the end of the day he will travel to Santiago de Cuba city.
His last mass in Cuba will be at the Virgin of Charity Shrine in the town of El Cobre to later address Cubans gathered in the Cathedral in Santiago de Cuba. At the end of the day, Cuban people and government authorities will see him off at the Antonio Maceo International Airport
